Kitchari is a classic Ayurvedic dish that is used for cleansing the system. Rice and mung dal (lentil) are first soaked, then cooked with digestive spices and fresh ginger to support easy digestion and gentle cleansing of the body. Spinach is added for fibre and vitamins, cilantro for its many beneficial properties and toasted sunflower seeds for oil and a crunch and top it off with a splash of lemon for a bit of tang. 

Cleansing Kitchari

  • basmati rice - mung dal - mustard seeds - cumin seeds - green cardamom pods - dried curry leaves - coriander powder - turmeric powder - Himalayan pink salt - black pepper - organic spinach - organic cilantro
